The Founder's Story

Hi, I'm Dipo.

Founder & CEO of Twirlys

I'm an inventor, but really, I'm someone who can't leave a small problem alone. I pray over every idea before I chase it, because I've always believed the work I do is meant for something bigger than me. Twirlys began with something almost too ordinary to notice: the daily hassle of laces. Bending to tie them. Retying them. Watching people struggle with them, kids, seniors, folks who just wanted to get on with their day. I kept asking the same question, why do we still do this?

So I built the answer. Twirlys turns the laces you already own into a secure, stylish slip-on, no tying, no cutting, and far less bending down to fuss with a loose lace. Designed to work with most laces, I made it for everyone I pictured: kids who just want to run out and play, parents always short on time, seniors and anyone with dexterity challenges who deserve to keep their independence, and anyone who simply wants their shoes to feel like their own. It even tucks away hoodie drawstrings and keeps jogger laces from dragging, small touches of safety and style for the way you actually live.

Creating is what I live for. I love to engineer, to design, to test one color after another, and to pour into other creators and champion the dreamers chasing what's next, because I really do believe no problem is too big when you've got vision and the will to solve it.
